Nevada County, My Home

As a resident for over 30 years, it has been my joy to live and raise my family in Nevada County.  Recently my children returned home to Nevada City, (after seeing the big city for a few years), to raise my grandchildren in this wonderful environment.

I’ve had the opportunity to live in most areas of the Western portion of the county:

• from the winter snows in Cascade Shores,
• to the dry grassland of Penn Valley,
• the gated subdivision of Lake Wildwood,
• the comfortable living in Alta Sierra,
• and several locations in Grass Valley and Nevada City. 

Each area features it’s own mini-climate, but the small-town feeling that is Western Nevada County is common to all.

I spent many years working in the local electronics industry in the marketing, credit and contracts departments working with companies around the world. My husband and I then established our own small business in that field.  In 1992, I switched to real estate sales so that I could be more involved in the community.  It was a good move and my experience provided me with a solid background for the many aspects involving real estate.

• Investment Clubs – Our Women with a Future investment club is now in its ninth year and doing well.  Our main focus is education and, of course, profit. 
• Hiking and snow-shoeing-  This area offers lots of opportunity for outdoor recreation at any level.
• Traveling: most recent trip – the islands of Greece
